B-galleria, Kirjakahvila ja Turun akateeminen eläinoikeusseura yhdistävät voimansa ja järjestävät yhteisen piirustusiltojen sarjan. PIIRUSTUSILLATOta omat piirustusvälineet ja paperit mukaan. Mallille kerätään parin euron kolehti käteisenä. Ovet suljetaan ilmoitettuna aikana, joten saavuthan ennen sitä. Croquis (tai suomalaisittan krokii) tulee ranskan sanasta croquer, joka tarkoittaa nopeaa piirtämistä. Croquis-piirrokset tehdään yleensä elävästä mallista rajatussa ajassa, esimerkiksi 1-10 minuutissa. Ajan loputtua malli vaihtaa asentoa. Piirroksia tehdään usein monta peräkkäin. B-gallerian toiminnan keskeisenä lähtökohtana on tarjota erilaisille nykytaiteen toimijoille mahdollisuus saada teoksiaan ja projektejaan esille, sekä olla yleisölle helposti lähestyttävä paikka tutustua ja kokea nykytaidetta eri muodoissa. B-galleria sijaitsee osoitteessa Aninkaistenkatu 5, lähellä Yliopistonkadun ja Aninkaistenkadun risteystä. Turun Kirjakahvila on jäsenistönsä, vapaaehtoistensa ja työntekijöidensä muodostama epäkaupallinen ja voittoa tavoittelematon osuuskunta. Kirjakahvilan tärkeimpänä tehtävänä on sen perustamisesta lähtien ollut toimia vapaana ja epäkaupallisena kohtaamispaikkana, turvallisempana tilana erityisesti vähemmistöille sekä laaja-alaisen omaehtoisen kulttuuri- ja tapahtumatoiminnan mahdollistajana Turun historiallisessa keskustassa. Kirjakahvilan perusarvoja ovat muun muassa queerfeminismi, antirasismi ja antikapitalismi. Kirjakahvila on Brinkkalan sisäpihalla, jonne pääsee Vanhalta suurtorilta. Turun akateeminen eläinoikeusseura (Akateos) on Turun yliopiston ylioppilaskunnan (TYY) alajärjestö, jonka tarkoituksena on edistää eläinoikeusajattelua yliopistolla ja saattaa yhteen samanmielisiä ihmisiä. Marraskuussa Akateos järjestää kulttuurin välitilahankkeena ”Näkymiä eläinsuhteeseen” tapahtumakokonaisuuden Nummen kirjastotalolla. Tapahtumissa yhdistellään taidetta ja yhteiskunnallista ja kriittistä eläintutkimusta. Akateosin tapahtumatila on Nummen kirjastotalolla, osoitteessa Töykkälänkatu 22. Linja-autot 55,56 ja 99 pysähtyvät kirjaston vieressä. ESTEETTÖMYYS B-galleria ei valitettavasti ole esteetön tila. Pääsisäänkäynnissä Aninkaistenkadulta B-galleriaan on pieni portaikko, jossa on viisi porrasaskelta. Tilan ulko-oven aukon leveys on 71,5 cm, portaiden leveys 105 cm ja portaikon korkeus 86 cm. WC-tilamme ei myöskään ole esteetön pienen kokonsa vuoksi. Vaihtuvien näyttelyiden valaistuksesta, tuoksuista ja muista olosuhteista voi tiedustella gallerialta sähköpostitse tai puhelimitse. Kirjakahvila sijaitsee Museoviraston suojelemassa kiinteistössä, joka ei ole liikuntaesteetön. Ulko-ovella on 1 porrasaskelma (korkeus 15 cm) ja oviaukon maksimileveys on 108 cm, kun molemmat pariovet avataan. Jos tarvitset sisäänkäynnissä apua, soita Kirjakahvilan numeroon 02 4691396. Kirjakahvilan kynnykset ovat porrastettuja ja 3,5-4,5 cm korkeita. Kynnyksiä on ulko-oven lisäksi jokaisessa oviaukossa. WC:t eivät ole liikuntaesteettömiä kapeiden oviaukkojen ja pienen tilan takia. Akateosin käytössä oleva entinen kotihoidon toimitila Nummen kirjastotalolla on esteetön. Monday Turku Book Café at 18.30 ORGANIZERS B-GALLERIA is a non-profit and artist-run art space in the center of Turku. The main aim of B-galleria’s activities is to provide different contemporary art practitioners the opportunity to exhibit their works and projects, and to serve as an accessible space for the public to engage with and experience contemporary art in various forms. B-gallery is located ar Aninkaistenkatu 5, near the crossing of Yliopistonkatu and Aninkaistenkatu. Turku Book Café is a non-commercial, non-profit cooperative formed by its members, volunteers, and employees. Since its establishment, the main role of Book Café has been to act as a free, non-commercial meeting place, a safer space especially for minorities, and a facilitator of a wide range of independent cultural and event activities in Turku's historic center. The core values of Turku Book Café include queer feminism, anti-racism, and anti-capitalism. The Book Café is in the courtyard of Brinkkala, which can be reached from the Old Market Square. The Turku Academic Animal Rights Society (Akateos) is a sub-organization of the Student Union of the University of Turku (TYY), whose purpose is to promote animal rights awareness at the university and bring together like-minded individuals. In November, Akateos will organize the event series “Perspectives on Human-Animal Relations” at the Nummi Library as part of Turku cultural intermediate space project. The events will combine art and social and critical animal studies. Akateos' event space is at Nummi library building, at Töykkälänkatu 22. Buses 55, 56 and 99 stop next to the library. ACCESSIBILITY B-galleria, unfortunately, is not an accessible space. The main entrance from Aninkaistenkatu to B-galleria has a small staircase with five steps. The width of the outer door is 71.5 cm, the width of the stairs is 105 cm, and the height of the staircase is 86 cm. Our restroom is also not accessible due to its small size. For information on the lighting, scents, and other conditions in the temporary exhibitions, you can contact the gallery by email or phone. Kirjakahvila is located in a building protected by the Finnish Heritage Agency, which is not wheelchair accessible. There is one step (15 cm high) at the front door, and the door opening is 108 cm wide when both double doors are opened. If you need assistance entering, please call Kirjakahvila at +358 2 4691396. The thresholds are staggered and 3.5–4.5 cm high. In addition to the front door, there is a threshold in every doorway. The restrooms are not wheelchair accessible due to narrow doorways and limited space. The former home care office used by Akateos at the Nummi Library is accessible.
