PUNX FOR SEITAN on tänä vuonna jälleen kolmepäiväinen! Brinkkalan sisäpihalla nyt jo kahdeksatta kertaa järjestettävä Punx for Seitan Fest on vapaaehtoisvoimin järjestetty, pääsymaksuton ja ikärajaton festivaali. // PUNX FOR SEITAN is organized for the eight time in a row. This year the fest lasts for three days. Everything is organized by volunteers. Free entry, all ages.

Tänä vuonna festeillä on luvassa punkin ja hardcoren ohella muun muassa pikatreffit, punk-kirppis, paneelikeskustelu ja työpajoja! // This year the fest consists of gigs, speed dating, punk flea market, panel discussion and workshops!

Bring your own table or blanket. We also advice bringing along a parasol/umbrella when it’s hot and sunny. In case of rain, we have tents and stuff!

13–15 STICK’N’POKE-TYÖPAJA // WORKSHOP
Stick’n’poke peer2peer skill share workshop! Are you interested in DIY tattooing? Here is your chance to get to know the basics of stick’n’poke technique! We are not professionals by any means but we have gathered enough knowledge to pass it on to those interested. We have all the supplies needed, like needles, ink and hygienic gear that you can purchase for a small fee (~ 2–4 € total, enough for one tattoo). With tattoos hygiene comes first! Take clean disposable gloves with you. We also recommend to take a head torch with you, if you have one! As usually in life, this is not risk free. Tattoo at your own risk!

16–18 WORKSHOP BY ASAP HKI: CONCEPTS, HISTORY AND EXPERIENCES OF AUTONOMOUS ANTI-PATRIARCHAL WORKGROUPS FOR MEN* (ETC.)
In the workshop a few different concepts, as well as a bit of history and experiences with autonomous anti-patriarchal work-groups for men*, masculine-identifying people and those with a masculine socialization will be presented. A special focus will be on Challenging Male Supremacy’s step-based study program, that the ASAP (Abolish Sexism And Patriarchy) groups have been using so far. One goal is to find people interested in starting a similar group in Turku (or elsewhere!) and to give room for critical feedback and hear/talk about the experiences of others with such group work approaches, so we can develop our paths to abolish patriarchy together. For transparency and feedback the workshop is open to everybody and the language will be English.

Korkopyöräturnajaiset muistuttavat hevosturnajaisia. Hevoset vain on vaihdettu korkeisiin pyöriin ja peitset ovat muoviputkia pehmeällä päällä. Pyörän selässä pidempään pysyvä kisailija on voittaja! Turnajaisiin kisailemaan voi ilmoittautua paikan päällä. Omia suojavarusteita kannattaa ottaa mukaan, mutta myös paikan päällä on joitain suojuksia käytettäväksi. Kisailijat kisailevat omalla vastuullaan. // Tall bike jousting is like medieval jousting with horses, the only difference is that instead of a horse you ride a tall bike, and use a soft plastic lance, instead of a sharp one.
