Bozhena Makovska is an activist from Kyiv, who has recently had to relocate due to Russian invasion in Ukraine.
Bozhena is a founder of Feminists of Kyiv, an English-language independent media publishing interviews with Kyiv-based feminist and LGBTQ+ activists. She will talk about the project, her activism, and the local community. She will also share the story of what she had to go through after Russia invaded Ukraine, and her experience of evacuating from a war zone.
